Tax Deal Edges Closer to Passage
The Washington Post reports on today’s Senate passage of the $865 billion tax deal. The pressure is now on the House to pass it as well. A House vote could take place as early as tomorrow, according to the Post. Polls show that most Americans support the measure, which would also extend unemployment insurance to millions of people out of work.
